If My People

if my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14

America past history shows a nation that was low in crime, businesses that prospered and the only problem, we had with school children, was talking in class and chewing gum. However, there has been a swift in our history since 1962. Now, we see a rise in crime, not only in the streets, but also in our schools. We will look at what made the difference, and what we need to do to return to the low crime rate we had in the past.

1. We were One Nation Under God.

The signers of The Declaration Of Independence, were men who held Christian morals. The signers were members of their denominations that were higher than the normal rate of the 1700's. Here are a few quotes of the Founding Fathers. It is impossible to list them all here.

You do well to wish to learn our arts and ways of life, and above all, the religion of Jesus Christ. These will make you a greater and happier people than you are.” George Washington, 1st President of The United States

Suppose a nation in some distant region should take the Bible for their only law book and every member should regulate his conduct by the precepts there exhibited. . . . What a Eutopia – what a Paradise would this region be!” John Adams, signer of The Declaration Of Independence and 2nd President Of The United States

[C]hrist Jesus – the promise of old made unto the fathers, the hope of Israel [Acts 28:20], the light of the world [John 8:12], and the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth [Romans 10:4] – is the only Savior of sinners, in opposition to all false religions and every uninstituted rite; as He Himself says (John 14:6): “I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by Me.”136[N]o man, whatever be his character or whatever be his hope, shall enter into rest unless he be reconciled to God though Jesus Christ.137[T]here is no salvation in any other than in Jesus Christ of Nazareth” John Witherspoon, Signer of The Declaration Of Independence

2. The Moral Decline In America

When our country based our morals on the Bible, we had a very low crime rate. That changed in 1962, when prayer and the Bible was no longer allowed in schools. Before 1962 the students were taught the Bible. The Bible was a text book that was allowed in school. The ten commandments were listed on every school door, Websters dictionary had the plan of salvation on its first page. Every student was taught, that Jesus was the only way to heaven. Yale, Harvard, Princeton and Oxford were originally Christian colleges.

Since we took God out of the class room, we have the following:
Criminal arrest of teens is up 150% according to the US Bureau of Census; teen suicides in ages 15-19 years up 450% according to the National Center of Health Services; illegal drug activity is up 6000% according to the National Institute of Drug Abuse; child abuse cases up 2300% according to the US Department of Health and Human Services; divorce up 350% according to the US Department of Commerce, and SAT scores fell 10% even though the SAT questions have been revamped to be easier to answer. Violent crime has risen 350%, national morality figures have plummeted, and teen pregnancy escalated dramatically after prayer and the Bible were removed from the schools.

Today 68% of Americans claim it is ok to have sex outside of marriage
61% of Americans claim it is ok to have a baby out of marriage
63% of Americans claim there is nothing morally wrong with being gay or lesbian
59% of Americans believe that abortion should be legal” (On-line statistics)

3. God's cure for our nation

The only cure for our nation, is to return to the faith of our Founding Fathers. We need to individually and as a nation, base our morals on the Bible. We need to once again become a Christian Nation. The following are the four steps we need to take.

Humble Ourselves: We need to humble ourselves and admit that we are sinners. We need to ask God for forgiveness “for all have sinned and fell short of the kingdom of God” Rom 3:23

We Need To Seek God And Pray. Our desire should be to know God better than we do at this moment. We need to pray, and ask God to reveal himself to us. May we pray for a closer relationship with him, may we pray for our friends and family. May we pray for our nation. May we pray that everyone we come into contact with, would return to the God of our Founding Fathers.

We Need To Turn From Our Ways.

And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, To keep the commandments of the Lord, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?” Deut. 10:12 and 13

This message is not only for Israel. It is a message for every nation, including America. We need to keep his commandments. We are to love him with all of our hearts. We need to make some changes. Some of the area's may be easy to change, others may be struggle areas. Addictions, like drugs, alcohol, and homosexual lifestyles are harder to overcome. In those areas, we need to put our Faith in God being able to deliver us. He can, and will if we allow him to change our hearts.

It all begins with us putting our faith in the blood that Jesus shed on the cross. It is to believe that He rose from the dead. Last of all it is to believe that he will deliver us from our bondage of a destructive lifestyle.

4. God Will Heal Our Land

If we would make that decision God promised that he would hear from heaven (answer our prayers). He also promised that he would forgive our sins. Then he promises to heal our land. God is the only one who can heal our Land of crime, teenage pregnancy, gangs, murder, theft, etc. Turn to God, before things get worst.

If you would like to make Jesus the Lord of your life, repeat this prayer.

Dear Jesus, I believe that you died on the Cross for my sin and rose again from the dead. Forgive me for all that I have done wrong. Come live inside of me. I choose to make you my Lord and Savior In Jesus name, Amen.

Being A Witness

“he that winneth souls is wise” Prov 11:30b

There is a spiritual battle going on with the people that are around you. Both God and Satan wants their soul. Man has been given a free will. God loves them, and Satan hates them. However, both want spend eternity with them. God wants them to go to heaven, where there is no more pain or suffering, and Satan wants to drag them to hell which is filled with pain, sorrow and hate. When we go to heaven, we will not be able to take any possessions. We will not be able to take our money, our houses or any earthly material. The only thing that we will bring to heaven are the souls that received Christ as their savior. It is wise to reach out to a lost soul, and help them find Christ. Being A Witness, is the wisest decision you can make.

Being a witness, does not require a long speech. Most people are in a hurry, and do not have a lot of time to hear your long speech. The only exception is if they are going to a church service or an evangelistic outreach, where they expect it to last for a while. However, if you are approaching someone on the street, keep it short. All you need to do, is to share a verse, ask if they want to accept Christ as their Lord and Savior and then lead them in a sinners prayer. After the prayer, briefly encourage them to read the Bible, pray and invite them to your church.

The following is an example speech

Hello I would like to share something with you

The Bible say's “if my people who are called by my name, will humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their ways. I will hear from heaven, I will forgive their sins and I will heal their land”

Would you like to ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins and make him the Lord of your life today

Dear Jesus, I believe you died on the cross for my sin and rose again from the dead. Forgive me for all that I have done wrong, come live inside of me, I choose to make you my Lord and Savior, In Jesus name. Amen

I want to encourage you to read your Bible and pray everyday. I will also like to invite you to (name of your church) and then give them a business card for your church. (Everyone should be invited to your church and offered a business card, even if they did not say the sinners prayer)

Being a witness is not forcing anyone to hear the gospel. God only requires us to share the Gospel. The hearer has a free will. They have the right to refuse to hear the Gospel. If someone refuses to hear the Gospel, the Bible tells us, “Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.” Matthew 7:6. If someone tells you they do not want to talk about religion, do not force them.

Being a witness requires us to answer their questions honestly. There will be times that a person will ask you questions mocking your faith, while at other times the hearer is serious and has some questions he or she needs to be answered. Answer all questions honestly. It is better to let a person know that you do not know the answer, than to make up one. Refer them to the leaders of your church, if the questions are too difficult for you to answer.
Being a witness is being considerate of your listener. Some people are willing to hear the gospel, but do not have the time to do so now. They may have an appointment to keep, a bus or train to catch. They may have children they have to pick up. If someone does not have the time, respect them. Do not keep sharing the gospel. It is better to give them a tract, that they can read later on than to make them late for their appointments. Another way to be considerate is by holding a door for someone with a baby or packages. Another way to be considerate is not to block streets, sidewalks or entrances to any building. It is not a good Christian example and it is not legal to prevent cars, pedestrians to pass by or to enter any building.
Being a witness through example. The greatest way that you can be a witness, is by the way you carry yourself. People are more concerned about what you do and not by what you say. Is the life you living a great testimony to God. Do others want, what you have or do they want to keep far away. How do you conduct yourself at home, work, school and in public. The only Jesus someone may see, is the Jesus in you. Do not give them the wrong image of Christianity.

Being a witness is best when done in teams of two or more. There will be times when someone will try to accuse you falsely. Having a team will help you have the testimony of someone else whenever needed. If at all possible, try to go in teams with at least one man and one woman. This way the men can share with the men and the women with the women. If a law enforcement officer asks you to stop, do not fight with the law enforcement officer. You can share your constitutional right of the 1st amendment, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.” If you see a fellow christian being arrested for sharing their faith, do not interfere. Call your pastor and attorney for help.

Being a witness is legal on any street or park in the United States. We are free in America to share our faith on any street or park. We can do it through preaching, music, passing out literature, acting, one on one, etc. We can preach, even if someone does not like what we are talking about. However, we are not allowed to force anyone to listen. When sharing in the streets, remember the points I mentioned above.

Being a witness to a large crowd. Some forms of witnessing will create a large crowd. When you are sharing one on one, you will not create a large crowd. However, if you are going to have a sound system or use any of the arts like preaching, music, skits or acting, you may create a crowd. Always check with the police dept in your town to find out what permits are needed to use this form of sharing.

Being a witness at work has a few guidelines. You are allowed to share your faith with other employees. Any employer, public or private has the right to limit your sharing to co workers and not customers. Before sharing with the customers, check with the policy of your job first before sharing. Keep in mind, that when you are sharing your work it must not interfere with your work. Even though you are sharing with a co worker, the boss has the right to ask you to do it when you both are on a break. Remember, you are on the clock and it is stealing not to give your boss a good days job. He or she is paying you to work and not to share your faith. Remember, it is illegal to force anyone to listen. If someone tells you, they don't want to hear the gospel, do not force it on them.

Being a witness at shopping malls and centers are only allowed when you are shopping. You can not go there just to share the gospel. Shoppers will talk to other shoppers about many things, like sports and refer others to vacation spots, etc. Since shoppers can talk to other shoppers about other things, you are covered under the free speech law to witness to others. This does not mean, that you can share your faith with everyone there. You can only share your faith, with those who you are holding a conversation with. So I suggest that you only share your faith, with someone who starts talking to you about anything. It can be about sports, a school play, something on the news, etc. That will protect you if the shopping center, mall or store accuses you of going there with the intention of sharing your faith. In a court room, you will be able to say that the you and the person were talking about sports, a show, news, etc and then the topic turned over to sharing your faith.

Being a witness at a school is limited to students, unless the school invited you to share. A student is free to share his or her faith with teachers or other students. They are allowed to place their Christian viewpoints in any assignments that they are given. Parents can also opt them out of any subjects that violate their faith.

Being a witness as a school teacher, is a little different than that of a student. While you and the student are citizens, you also are a governmental official. The government is not allowed to push any denomination or religion above another. That is what the first amendment is all about. The state officials are not allowed to “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion” So the teacher has to go about it in a different way. A teacher can make references to the Bible for its poetry and history, but can not teach it as the Word of God. A teacher has to do it, according to the schools policy. They can only speak about Christianity as education and not with an attitude of converting the student. They have to teach it, in the same fashion they would talk about other world religions. Teachers can react with other teachers before or after school with prayer or Bible study. When a student asks the teacher questions about his or her faith, they must answer it as “in my opinion”. However, the teacher should keep the answer short, and stick to the question. Do not make it a sermon.

Note: I am not a lawyer, I am a minister. I wrote Being a witness, after doing research on legal ways to share the Gospel in America. Laws change, and there are so many different situations you may face when sharing your faith. I suggest that you contact a lawyer, that deals with religious freedom, for additional information if needed.

We The People

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14

Solomon had built a temple, for God to dwell in. When he finished the temple, he prayed that God would hear the prayers of anyone who prays to God at the temple. God promised that he would answer the prayers of the people if they remained obedient to his word. However, he gave the following statement if they had disobeyed Him. “But if you [people] turn away and abandon My statutes and My commandments which I have set before you, and you go and serve other gods and worship them, then I will uproot Israel from My land which I have given them; and I will cast this house, which I have consecrated for My Name, out of My sight, and will make it a proverb and an object of scorn among all nations. And as for this house, which was so exalted, everyone who passes by it will be astonished and appalled and say, ‘Why has the Lord done thus to this land and to this house?’ Then people will say, ‘It is because they abandoned the Lord, the God of their fathers, who brought them out of the land of Egypt, and they adopted other gods, and worshiped them and served them; therefore He has brought all this adversity and evil on them.” 2 Chronicles 7:19 to 22. We The People need to take heed to the same warning.

We The People, in the beginning, our country, was founded by men, who loved God with all of their hearts. The following quote is from God and the Americans," Commentary, January 1995, p. 31). “From its beginning, the United States has found its core values in the pages of the Bible. British historian Paul Johnson explained: "Hence, though the Constitution and the Bill of Rights made no provision for a state church—quite the contrary—there was an implied and unchallenged understanding that America was a religious country, that the republic was religious not necessarily in its forms but in its bones, that it was inconceivable that it could have come into existence, or could continue and flourish, without an overriding religious sentiment pervading every nook and cranny of its society. This religious sentiment was based on the Scriptures and the Decalogue, was embodied in the moral consensus of the Judeo-Christian tradition, and manifested itself in countless forms of mainly Christian worship"

The following are a few quotes from our founding Fathers.

"While we are zealously performing the duties of good citizens and soldiers, we certainly ought not to be inattentive to the higher duties of religion. To the distinguished character of Patriot, it should be our highest glory to add the more distinguished character of Christian." George Washington.

"Suppose a nation in some distant Region should take the Bible for their only law Book, and every member should regulate his conduct by the precepts there exhibited! Every member would be obliged in conscience, to temperance, frugality, and industry; to justice, kindness, and charity towards his fellow men; and to piety, love, and reverence toward Almighty God ... What a Eutopia, what a Paradise would this region be." John Adams.

"God who gave us life gave us liberty. And can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are of the Gift of God? That they are not to be violated but with His wrath? Indeed, I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that His justice cannot sleep forever…" "I am a real Christian – that is to say, a disciple of the doctrines of Jesus Christ." Both are quotes from Thomas Jefferson.

My ancestor, Benjamin Harrison (the 23rd President) wrote to Russel Harrison, “"I hope you will renew your Christian faith and duties. It is a great comfort to trust God -- even if His providence is unfavorable. Prayer steadies one when he is walking in slippery places -- even if things asked for are not given."

PBS gives us the following about Benjamin Harrison, “Upon moving to Indianapolis in 1854, Harrison joined the First Presbyterian Church, and, according to a church memorial: "He was constant in his attendance on church meetings; his voice was heard in prayer meetings. ... And in whatever way opened, whether public or private, he gave testimony for his faith and the lordship of his Master."

When we the people prayed in schools, based our morals on Biblical principles and had a sincere love for God, our country prospered. We created main colleges like John Jay and Harvard to raise up missionaries to preach the Gospel in other countries. We became financially secure. Our children did well in school. Their grades were up, the only problems the teaches had was kids talking in class or chewing gum. We did not see the violence in our schools as we have today. Things began to change, when we removed the ten commandments from being posted on the classroom doors, and when we removed prayer. According to the Congressional Prayer Caucus Foundation, the following changes took place when we removed prayer and the Bible from our schools.

59% of Americans believe that abortion should be legal

We the people are heading down the wrong track. We have taken God out of America, and are headed towards destruction. Rome was destroyed as a result of their sexual orgies. Troy was destroyed because a jealous husband went after a country where the kings on had an affair with his wife. Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed for its homosexual activities. When will America wake up. Will we be the next country to receive judgment for our sexual looseness.

Mathew Henry wrote, “We are not born for ourselves, but for God and our country.”

Mathew Henry also wrote, “National judgments are here supposed, famine, and pestilence, and perhaps war, for by the locusts devouring the land meant enemies as greedy as locusts, and laying all waste. National repentance, prayer, and reformation, are required. God expects that his people who are called by his name, if they have dishonored his name by their iniquity, should honor it by accepting the punishment of their iniquity. They must be humble themselves under his hand, must pray for the removal of the judgment, must seek the face and favor of God; and yet all this will not do, unless they turn from their wicked ways, and return to the God from whom they have revolted.”

We The people need to return to the values of our founding fathers.

Solomon acknowledges that he need's God's wisdom to be king in David's stead. He knew that his father had done a great job. He knew he had to do a great job as his father did. That would not be an easy task. The nation was filled with a lot of people. He wanted to be a good king. Making the right choices. So he prays “You have shown great loving kindness and mercy to my father David, and have made me king in his place. Now, O Lord God, Your promise to my father David is fulfilled, for You have made me king over a people as numerous as the dust of the earth. Give me wisdom and knowledge, so that I may go out and come in [performing my duties] before this people, for [otherwise] who can rule and administer justice to this great people of Yours?” 2 Chronicles 1:8-10

America's Founding Fathers, have given us the freedom that we have. They were men, who ran the country on Christian principles. They sought their pastors for advise, when it came to running this country. Every moral decision that they made, was based on the Bible. May we build on their morals. Lets not change them. Right is right and wrong is wrong. Let's not make laws that are based on what we want or desire. Lets base our laws on the Holy Scriptures. After all, everyone of us will give account to God for our obedience or disobedience to His law. Let us remember, "I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that his justice cannot sleep forever. ...” Thomas Jefferson

Second Chronicles 7:14 (Amplified Bible), gives us the steps We The People, need to return to our Godly heritage. “and My people, who are called by My Name, humble themselves, and pray and seek (crave, require as a necessity) My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear [them] from heaven, and forgive their sin and heal their land.”

1. We The People need to humble ourselves

We the people need to seek God in abundance. The first way that we humble ourselves is realizing that we are not as spiritual as we think we are. Christianity is more than going to church one day a week or on Sundays. It is how we live everyday. Solomon and Israel had offered sacrifices to God in the past. However, at this time they offered the sacrifices in abundance. “And king Solomon offered a sacrifice of twenty and two thousand oxen, and a hundred and twenty thousand sheep” 2 Chronicles 7:5. May we not just settle for what we have offered in the past. May we offer more and more of our lives to God everyday. May we seek him with all of our hearts. May we take more time, in seeking God. May we pray more, may we attend church more than just holidays, may we listen to Christian music and preaching tapes, more than just Sundays. May we give God more and more of our lives.

We the people need to come to God through the door

Not all religions lead to the same road. They can not all be correct. We need to humble ourselves and realize that what we have been taught may be wrong. Our religion may be wrong. Our teachings may be wrong. We need to want to know the truth. The tabernacle had only one door to enter. There was only one way. You were not able to go to the tabernacle, through any other means. You had to go through the door. Once you entered the door, there was a vale of blue, purple and scarlet. The vale was a perfect picture Jesus, who is the only door to heaven. The blue spoke of his teachings, the purple spoke about him being King and Lord, the scarlet spoke about the blood he shed. It is through the blood that we come to the forgiveness of sin. His teachings are what we need to learn his commandments and as Lord, we surrender and give him total commitment. Jesus is both Lord and Savior, not just Savior. We the people need to come through the door. We need to give him our total surrender. We need to love him with all our hearts and not just through lip service. “Jesus said to him, “I am the [only] Way [to God] and the [real] Truth and the [real] Life; no one comes to the Father but through Me” John 14:6 Amplified Bible

God had promised to bless the nation of Israel, if they had kept his commandments. Any nation, who obeys the commandments of God will be blessed. “If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God:” Deut. 28:1&2. We The People, will receive all of the blessings that God promised to a nation, if we would obey his commandments.

We the people need to acknowledge our need for God. We are sinners, who are in need of a savior. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” We need to humble ourselves and admit that we are sinners. None of us are perfect. We can all think of times that we wish we have done things differently. We all know we have done things that are wrong. We have done things, that we should not have done. We have not done things, that we should have done. We even had delight in things that others have done, that we know are wrong. We have made laws to please ourselves and our own desires, even though deep down in our conscience we know that it is wrong.

2. We the People need to Pray and Seek God 2 Chronicles 1:3

The work seek in the dictionary means to desire, to work towards something, to obtain, to ask for something. It is as when you go to the police, and ask them for help. You are seeking the help of a police officer. You are asking them for help to archive something. That is the attitude we need to have towards God. We need to have a desire to know God. Our desire should be do I really know Him. Am I correct in what I believe about who He is. We the people need to cry out to God, and ask Him to reveal himself to us. There are different ways that we do that. To seek God, means to crave, it is to see our necessity to need Him in our lives. He needs to be part of our lives, in everything we do, say and think.

We the people need to pray. The first way that we need to pray, is by asking God for Forgiveness. We have violated His law, and deserve judgment. May we ask God to have mercy. May we ask God to help us with our shortcoming. We need to pray, that our lives will be changed. Let's pray for our families and those that are closest to us. Lets pray for the strangers, we meet everyday. Lets pray for our nation, that they will make laws that do not violate God's law. May we bring back prayer into our lives, into our schools, withing our nation. Lets pray to know God better, than we know him. Lets pray that His righteousness will be seen in our lives, in our families, in our nation. May we remember Matthew 6:33, when praying for our needs for food, clothing and shelter, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these. things shall be added unto you.”

We the people need to seek God through the word of God
So many, have a Bible sitting on a shelf somewhere. Very few have even read it. Second Timothy 3:16 reads, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” The Bible is where we will learn more about who God is. God has shared who he is, what He is like, what He requires, and how you can have a vibrant relationship with Him. It will show us what areas in our lives need to be corrected. May we open a Bible to learn about right living. The Bible will tell us, what is right and wrong. Read it and live it.

We the people need to seek God through Church Attendance

There are so many claiming to be Christians today. If that is true, why are our church pews empty. The Bible tells us, “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” The church is a place that we grow at. We learn the word. We encourage one another. We have a place to have friendships with Godly people. Hang out with criminals, you will become a criminal. Hang out with Christians, you will become more Christ like. Are you struggling in an area. Find a Christian, who you can call to help you. Go to the house of someone who is living right, instead of someone who hates God and lives a life of sin. Jesus is coming soon. We don't know the day or the hour. However, He can come any time. Find a Bible believing church, go there on a steady basis, and watch your faith grow. The church is a hospital for the sick. We the people need to go back to church. Don't be like most people, forsaking the attendance of church, go there.

3. We the people need to turn from our ways.

Confession is filled with people who tell God they are sorry, but never stop doing what they are sorry for. God does not want people to just talk, he wants people to walk the walk. True repentance is more than telling God you are sorry. It is about making changes in your life. It is the husband loving their wives. The parents loving their kids and kids loving their parents. It is the drug and alcoholic giving up the substance abuse. It is the prostitute change her or his ways. It is loving others, no matter what their race, politics, sex, financial status is. It is doing what is right in our lives. May we tell God we are sorry for the things we are doing, and then start making changes to do what is right. I am not saying that change takes place overnight. That is going to the other extreme. However, are we working on the area's that need change. Are we seeking council, are we seeking help from our pastors, are we making steps to change. When we make steps, a year from now, we will see that a lot of changes have been made in our lives. It is more than a New Years resolution. It is constantly making changes as God shows us areas in our life that is displeasing to him. May we the people begin making changes today.

When we the people, do the things I have just mentioned, God shows his approval of our sacrificial lives. When Solomon prayed, God approved the prayer by sending down fire to consume the sacrifice. When we are willing to make sacrifices, by changing area's in our lives (even if we enjoy them), God will show his approval on our lives. God's approval is on all that will get real with him. All that seek God, all that pray, all that humble themselves, all that change their ways, God will show his approval. He shows his approval by forgiving us. He shows his approval through blessings, such as food, clothing, shelter, etc. He shows his approval through finances. He shows his approval through protecting our land from wars. May we repent as a nation, so that we can once again enjoy God's blessings.

In Conclusion, when we the people humble ourselves, pray, seek God and turn from our wicked ways, God will give us a revival here in America. When God approved the sacrifice Israel was making, by sending a fire to consume it, he filled the house with His glory. When God would fill the room with his glory, it was a sign that God was present in the house. If we would get real with God, he will fill our lives with his presence. He will fill America with his presence. Revival will break out in the land. We will see signs, like we never seen before. Many will come to Christ, physical healing will take place, needs will be met, and God will protect our land. Revival takes place with each one of us. A nation is filled with individuals. It will take each one of us, individually, to turn to Christ. As we all do, we will see our nation returning to the principles of our founding fathers. It takes one by one, to return. Will you return today.

If you will like to turn from your ways and turn to God, repeat this prayer. Dear Jesus: I believe you died on the cross for my sins. I believe you rose again. Forgive me for everything I have done wrong. Come live inside of me. I make you my Lord and Savior. In Jesus name I pray, Amen

The following video, is a movie about the revival that hit our land in the 70's. We can have another one today, as many come to Christ. I will teach churches how to effectively reach out to the lost. Feel free to contact me. Consider supporting this ministry, by donating at the link on this site.

We Want God In America Again

America was founded not only on Christian principles, but also with the right to express you religious beliefs, practice and included sharing your faith. Our elementary schools had the 10 Commandments posted on the door. Websters dictionary gave the plan of salvation. Every elementary student knew God's plan of salvation. Our Colleges like Hartford and John Jay, were formed to raise up missionaries to preach the gospel. Our first amendment gave us the right to follow our religion and gave us the freedom of speech to share it with others. "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

Today I received an email from Uber. They informed me that I am locked out of my account. Which means I am not allowed to make money, picking up passengers or delivering food for them. The reason they gave me was multiple complaints, that I had discriminated their customers.

I sent them an email, requesting details about the customer complaints. I also went to their office in Stamford, CT. The Stamford, CT office informed me that the complaints were about me sharing my faith. Since when is it discriminating to share your faith, and still drive the customer to their destination if they disagree with you.

They have it all wrong. It is not discriminating to share your faith. It is discriminating to refuse work to someone, because of their religious views. It is also a violation of someone's free speech to not allow them to share their faith.

Everyone else is complaining about have their rights violated. It is time for us Christians to take a stand and say enough is enough. We want God in America again. I will be seeking legal council in this matter. If anyone wants to support this evangelistic ministry, please consider donating above. I will not stop sharing the Gospel. It is our first amendment right.

Frog Town

While I was traveling I came across a street called Frog Town Rd. I felt that was a very strange name for a street, and at the same time, I was not able to get the name off of my mind. After doing a search on the name, I found a town was also called Frog Town. The town had a legend of an Old Man Withers. People were afraid to go to the town, because they believed that Old Man Withers was the cause for the disappearance of many people. I found four areas of fear, in this town that is also common to us today. I will discuss these fears, as well as a solution to help anyone that may suffer from fear.

The superstitious Fear of Frog Town. There was the fear that anyone who came to the town would disappear. There are many who suffer a similar fear. Are you afraid of walking the path of a black cat, walking under a ladder, Friday the 13th, breaking a mirror, etc? These are fears that cripple so many people. Superstition is the belief that some object has magical powers. The fear is a form of spiritual idolatry. It is a strong belief in demonic activity of an object. The Bible tells us not to be captive with this fear, but to put our trust in God. Colossians 2:8 “See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ.”

The criminal fear of Frog Town. The town had a reputation of low income and high crime. People were afraid that they would become victim to someone's crime. How many people today are afraid to go outside? How many people have multiple locks on their doors? How many are afraid of being murdered, beaten, rapped, robbed, etc? While we need to use precautions, God does not want us to be afraid. Luke 12:28 tells us, “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”

The fear of not making ends meet of Frog Town. The residents were of low income. Many found it hard to make ends meet. Many did not know how they would pay their rent, how to put food on the table, how to pay their bills. Some would even turn to crime, to get the money they needed. God does not want you to worry about tomorrow. Turning to crime, in not the answer to your money problems. God does have a solution. “Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?” Matt 6:25

The fear of what others think in Frog Town. Someone has said, “The greatest prison people live in is the fear of what other people think.” Many people would not go to the town, because of what they heard. They heard the crime rate was high, they heard Mr Old Withers caused the disappearance of many, they heard it was best to stay far away from the town. How about you? Do you have a fear about how skinny you are? Do you fear, you are not beautiful? Do you fear, you will never make friends? Do you fear, you will never say the right thing? Proverbs 29:25 “It is dangerous to be concerned with what others think of you, but if you trust the Lord, you are safe.”

Knowing the Prince Of Peace is the cure for Frog Town fear. During this Christmas season, we will be celebrating the fulfillment of Isaiah 9:6 “For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace” Jesus is the Prince Of Peace. The first step to freedom is fear is knowing the Prince of Peace for yourself. I am not talking about knowing about Him. Many know about him and still do not know them personally. God wants to have a relationship with you. He wants to be your heavenly Father. He is knocking on the door of your heart. He is asking you, will you invite me into your life? Will you make me your Lord and Savior? Repenting of your sin and turning to God is the first step of peace.

Knowing the Bible is the answer to the fear of Frog Town. There are 365 days in the year. According to CBN, there are more than 365 verses in the Bible to help you with fear. If you are struggling with fear, see what the Bible has to say about it. The Bible teaches that you are wonderfully made, that God loves you, that you are God's treasure and He was willing to die for you. The Bible teaches, that God does not want you to be afraid. Read the Bible, and repeat the verses in the Bible that will help you with your fear. Repeat them over and over again, until they becoe a part of your recovery.

Prayer is the answer to the fear of Frog Town. Philippians 4:6 and 7 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Fear is a real feeling, that we go through. It is a result of what we have been through and what we have been taught. We have many years, that we suffered due to our fears. It will take prayer to help us overcome them. Ask God to help you, with whatever you are afraid of. He loves you, and desires to set you free.

If you would like to be free from the fear of Frog Town, it will take a personal relationship with God, reading your Bible to know what God has to say about the issue, and praying for God's help. If you would like to make that choice today, it only takes a prayer. Would you pray, dear Jesus, I am sorry for my sins? I am sorry for not trusting you and instead I have trusted my fears. Forgive me, come into my live. As I read the Bible, help me see what you have to say about fear not. Most of all help me overcome my fears, I need you help. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
